Our Mission
At SGSP, we are dedicated to nurturing faith, fostering fellowship, and serving our community. Our mission is to follow Christ’s teachings, preserve our Coptic Orthodox traditions, and welcome everyone to experience the love of God through worship and service.

Our Faith: The Coptic Orthodox Church
The Coptic Orthodox Church is one of the oldest Churches in the world, founded by St. Mark the Evangelist in Alexandria, Egypt, in the first century. Our faith is built on the teachings of our Lord Jesus Christ, teachings of the early Church Fathers, a rich liturgical tradition, and a deep commitment to living out the Gospel in our daily lives.
We celebrate and practice the sacraments, honor the saints, and hold fast to the ancient traditions that have been passed down through generations, all while sharing the love of Christ with the world.

Our Preaching & Worship
At SGSP church, we believe that God’s Word is the foundation of our faith. Our priest and servants are dedicated to teaching the Bible with clarity and compassion, helping each member apply its truths in daily life.
The church takes great care for all teachings including weekly Liturgies and sermons, Bible Studies, Sunday School, and youth meetings that nurture spiritual growth for all ages. Through preaching and worship, we aim to inspire, challenge, and equip our congregation to live out the faith fully.
As a Coptic Orthodox community, we also embrace the sacraments of the church. These include Baptism, Confirmation (Myron), Confession and Repentance, Holy Communion, Marriage, Unction of the Sick, and Priesthood. Through these sacred mysteries, we experience God’s grace, grow in our spiritual lives, and unite more deeply with Christ and His Church.
